Nickel based high-temperature alloy flange is a circular component made of nickel based high-temperature alloy material, used to connect pipelines, valves, pump bodies and other equipment.
Common materials and components
Inconel 625: Based on nickel (Ni ≥ 58%), chromium (Cr 20-23%), molybdenum (Mo 8-10%), niobium (Nb about 4.15%) and other elements are added. The addition of these alloying elements gives it good corrosion resistance and high temperature stability.
Inconel 800 series: including Inconel 800, 800H, and 800HT. Its main components are nickel (Ni 30.0-35.0%), chromium (Cr 19.0-23.0%), iron (Fe * 39.5% lower), and contain trace elements such as titanium and aluminum. The high-temperature performance can be optimized by adjusting the composition.
UNS R30605: Contains 20-23% chromium (Cr), 25-30% nickel (Ni), and 6% molybdenum (Mo), with excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.
Performance Characteristics
High temperature resistance: Inconel 625 can maintain strength in a wide temperature range of -196 ℃ to 980 ℃, and still has a yield strength of 480MPa at 650 ℃; UNS R30605 can maintain stable mechanical properties even in environments up to 1200 ℃.
Corrosion resistance: Inconel 625 has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in acidic media, seawater, and chloride environments, with particularly outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
High mechanical strength: UNS R30605 has a tensile strength of ≥ 800MPa and a yield strength of ≥ 380MPa, and can withstand significant pressure and stress.
Good creep resistance: Inconel 800 series has good creep resistance and fracture resistance under long-term stress at high temperature, and can maintain shape and structural integrity for a long time in high temperature and high pressure environments.
Application field
Petrochemical industry: used to connect pipelines and equipment that handle high temperature, high pressure, and highly corrosive chemicals, such as reactors, heat exchangers, etc.
Aerospace: Used to manufacture high-temperature component connections in aircraft engines and fuselage structures, ensuring safe operation under extreme conditions.
Power generation industry: used in nuclear power plants and fossil fuel power plants to connect pipeline systems for processing high-temperature steam and high-pressure water.
Ocean engineering: can be used to manufacture connectors for subsea pipelines, seawater desalination equipment, etc., to resist strong corrosion from seawater.
