Material selection:

Sterilization pot flanges are usually made of stainless steel materials, such as S30408 Ⅱ, S32168 Ⅱ, S31603 Ⅱ, etc. Some also use 20 Ⅱ low carbon steel to meet the requirements of corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and pressure resistance.

Connection method:

There are various ways to connect the flanges of sterilization pots, such as bolt connection, which tightens the flanges together with bolts to tightly connect the equipment components; There are also clamp connections, such as clamp flanges, which connect and separate the cylinder flange and the shell head flange by opening and closing the clamps.

Function:

On the one hand, it plays a role in connecting the various components of the sterilization pot, such as connecting the tank body with the cover plate, pipeline, head, etc., forming a complete closed container for the sterilization pot, ensuring that the sterilization process proceeds smoothly under certain pressure and temperature; On the other hand, flange connections facilitate the installation, disassembly, and maintenance of equipment. When a component malfunctions or needs to be replaced, it can be easily operated by disassembling the flange.
