Welding flange
Product Characteristics:

Butt welded flange is a type of pipe fitting that refers to a flange with a neck and a transition to a circular pipe, and is connected to the pipe by butt welding. The following is a detailed introduction about butt welded flanges:

Features: Welding flanges are not easily deformed, have good sealing performance, have corresponding rigidity and elasticity requirements, and have a reasonable welding thinning transition. The distance between the weld and the joint surface is large, which can prevent the joint surface from being deformed by welding temperature.

Scope of application: Welding flanges adopt complex trumpet shaped structures, suitable for pipelines with significant pressure or temperature fluctuations, or pipelines with high, high, and low temperatures. They are generally used for connecting pipelines and valves with PN greater than 2.5 MPa, and can also be used for pipelines transporting expensive, flammable, and explosive media.

Production standards: Commonly used production standards include the Ministry of Chemical Industry standards HG/T20592-2009 and HG/T20615-2009, national standards GB/T9115.1-2000~GB/T9115.4-2000, the Ministry of Machinery standard JB/T86.2-94, and the marine standard CB/T47-1999.

Production materials: mainly WCB (carbon steel), LCB (low-temperature carbon steel), LC3 (3.5% nickel steel), WC5 (1.25% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum steel), WC9 (2.25% chromium), C5 (5% chromium and% molybdenum), C12 (9% chromium and 1% molybdenum), CA6NM (4% chromium steel), CA15 (4) (12% chromium), CF8M (316 stainless steel), CF8C (347 stainless steel), CF8 (304 stainless steel), CF3 (304L stainless steel), CF3M (316L stainless steel), CN7M (alloy steel), M35-1 (Monel), N7M (Hastelloy B), CW6M (Hastelloy C), CY40 (Inconel), etc.

Connection method: The welded flange is a detachable connection consisting of flanges, gaskets, and bolts that are interconnected to form a combined sealing structure. Place two flanges at each end of the pipeline or equipment interface, insert a gasket in the middle, tighten with bolts, and fill the micro gap between the flanges with gaskets to achieve sealing.
